A small move opens the way.
Pieces slide until they touch another piece. A stop can be useful: move another piece, then return to the first.

Slide to a stop
Tap a piece to move it along its arrow until it meets another.

Open another path
A piece can stay on the board and make room for its neighbours.

Return to the first
Come back to a piece after clearing its path. The aim is still to free them all.
