How we use data

Saving your game

Puzzle progress, completed puzzles, language and your analytics choice are stored in this browser. Progress does not automatically sync with other devices or the native app. Clearing this site's browser data removes these saves. This website uses Google's Firebase App Hosting; connection information, including IP addresses, is processed when serving pages.

Optional usage analytics

If you are 16 or older and choose “Allow analytics”, we send page views, puzzle starts and completions, hint and retry counts, successful shares, and store-link clicks to Google Analytics. Analytics cookies identify your browser. Device and browser information, referring sites and approximate region are also analyzed. Your IP address is processed when connecting to Google.

Our events do not include names, email addresses, free-form input, arbitrary URL queries or fragments. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals stay off. Web and native app statistics appear in the same reporting property, without linking individual progress or user IDs across platforms.

Your choice

You can play every Web puzzle without analytics. Use “Privacy settings” at the bottom of any page to turn it off at any time. This stops future measurement and removes this site's analytics cookies; it does not undo data already sent. Analytics cookies last up to 180 days and are renewed when used.

See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites for details about Google's processing.
